    Rental conflicts on the rise

    Between 2022 and 2024, the number of cases at the Rent Commission rose from over 12,000 to more than 18,500 procedures – an explosive growth in conflicts regarding rent, defects, and service costs. In a large portion of these cases, the tenant was (partially) right, often due to unconscious errors by landlords in an unnecessarily complex rental law system.

    AI begins to play a significant role. We see the potential to make complex legislation accessible to everyone.

    Affordable Rent Act

    A turning point in the Dutch housing market. The regulation of mid-segment rents makes the system fairer, but also five times as complex. The need for an independent and objective starting point becomes greater than ever.
